Bitters are a traditional cocktail ingredient made of bitter and aromatic herbs infused with alcohol. Used as only a few drops per drink they are the ‘salt & pepper’ that brings out flavour and character to your drinks. The prohibition era collapsed the thriving bitters industry. Until the early 21st century the selection of bitters was extremely limited.

Our WILD BITTERS are a part of the movement to bring back craft cocktails. We use wildcrafted ingredients, high-quality organic herbs in our bitters. They are formulated using traditional herbal knowledge and attention to providing flavours applicable to modern craft cocktails. Being alcohol extracts bitters will last for many years, but over time the flavours will change. Enjoy your craft bitters!

CITRUS ROOTS [Dandelion Lemon]*made with Stirling Creek Vodka [This is our original bitters formula crafted with traditional bitters dandelion leaf and root, burdock root, lemon balm grown in our homestead gardens, organic lemon peel and a dash of local honey. This is a great citrus bitters for classic cocktails or taken straight up or in soda water before or after meals to support digestion and liver function.]

FOREST FIRE [Charred Cedar] *made with Smokin Gun Moonshine [We make our Charred Cedar Bitters by hand-harvesting cedar from the wildest of places in Muskoka. Next, we start a fire using the bush craft technique of the cedar bow-drill. We char the fresh cedar leaf and branches over the fire and then jar and smother in locally distilled smoked rye whiskey. After steeping they are blended with extracts of bitter herbs. These bitters are perfect for adding smokey or woodsy flavour to your favourite cocktail.]
